Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a truly international organisation with over 230 staff across 12 office locations. Their work spans a wide range of sectors including: residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero carbon, public sector, healthcare and education.

They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will:

● Act as Project Leader on selected projects
● Work as part of a larger team on certain projects
● Attend principal meetings and making client presentations on selected projects
● Raise/promote the level of technical excellence relating to mechanical engineering within the team
● Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients
● Work on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors
● Be client facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion.
● Produce drawings and specifications
● Produce calculations or guiding others to complete them

Experience & Qualifications:

● Minimum of 3-4 years experience of design in building services, post qualification completion
● Experience of Software design using – Microsoft suite of programmes, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit
● Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.
● Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET)
● A good understanding of HV/LV systems
● Knowledge of integration of embedded generation
● An understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologies
● An appreciation of electrical engineering to be able to cover both disciplines at meetings
